Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the sudden passing of Mike Sotak on January 2, 2026, while on vacation in the Bahamas.

Mike was a larger-than-life personality, and I know that he had hundreds, if not thousands, of friends who will feel the loss deeply. As a member of the Class of 1987, Mike’s impact on everyone who knew him was profound, and his absence will be felt by all. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife, Leanne (Glesinger), their children, his family, and all of his friends.

In the face of this tragic loss, we would like to invite family and friends to join us for a Celebration of Life in Mike’s memory. It will be a time to share stories, remember the good times, and honor the joy that Mike brought into all our lives. He would have wanted us to celebrate life the way he always did.
